This week, the Gladiators took on Springbrook in a Saturday night showdown. We started off strong with dive, where all of our divers received season high scores. Our swimmers had a great meet, achieving 18 season best times and 3 first place relay finishes.

We want to shoutout a few swimmers who showed great Gladiator spirit--

For the boys, thank you to Leo, Xavion and Jamal for stepping up for some last minute relay swims!

For the girls, Nathalie had a great meet, including an awesome butterfly leg in the 200 Medley Relay!

As winter break approaches, we wanted to remind swimmers and parents the importance of communication with coaches about missing practices and meets:

Swimmers should text or email Coach Maddie or Coach Gabby if they will be missing practice.

For swim meets, swimmers/parents must let coaches know if they are available by declaring on Swimtopia. Here are video instructions about how to declare on Swimtopia on the website and on the app. Swimtopia sign ups are due the Wednesday before each meet.

If swimmers have last minute changes to their meet availability, they MUST text or email a coach as soon as possible. This is very important since when there is a change in availability, coaches need to update the lineup.

Thank you to all the parents who have consistently been signing up for volunteer roles. We would appreciate even more help for our upcoming meet, so please sign up in Swimtopia or send an email if you would like to volunteer on Saturday. We always need timers and dive judges, which are jobs that anyone (including swimmer siblings and friends) can fill.
