Regionals info!
February 10th
Hello Families!
Regionals swim practice is Tuesday from 3-4pm (weather permitting). Swimmers need to have their own ride to practice. There is no bus available from Northwood. Please check MCPS alerts about any weather cancellations for afternoon/evening activities Tuesday afternoon.
Your athletes should know if they are on the regional team. Please have them check with the captains or Coach Gabby if they are unsure. Remember we can only take the top two swimmers for each event and enter only one relay group per relay.

Location - Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center, Prince Frederick, MD
Date - Saturday, February 15, 2025
Timeline:
6:00-6:10 AM - Athlete check in at Forest Knolls Elementary Bus Circle
6:15 AM - Team bus departing
7:00 AM - Door Open @ Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center
7:30 AM - Coaches Meeting
7:45 AM - Team Warm-Ups (20 min sessions)
8:00 AM - Door Open for Spectators
8:15 AM - Officials Meeting
8:30 AM - Timers Briefing
8:55 AM - National Anthem
9:00 AM - Meet Starts
Volunteer request: We need two timers from Northwood. I believe there is room on the school bus taken the team to the meet. Please let me know ASAP if you are willing to time at the meet. THANK YOU:)
Would anyone be willing to send some snacks for the team to have at the meet on Saturday, for example: bag of clementines/mandarin oranges, granola bars, trail mix, cheez-its, etc.?? Let us know, thank you!!
