Final team practice = 2/5; Championship season info (METROS, Regionals, & States)!!

Hello Swim & Dive families!! 

We had a great meet yesterday! We are so proud of everyone's hard work, positive attitude, and awesome effort! We saw some fantastic diving and some tremendous swims!! Boys came in 1st place and the Girls finished up in 6th!! As a combined team we came in SECOND PLACE!!! Way to go!! We even saw two new team records attained by Quinn Marchionini in the 100 Free and 200IM!! THANK YOU to the volunteers for spending so much of your time to make our divisionals meet run so smoothly!! And for everyone that came and cheered us on:)

Our final team practice is this Wednesday, 2/7. We will have drop in practice next week, for the Regionals swimmers and divers. Please let us know if your swimmer is willing and able to compete in Regionals, Saturday, 2/15 (7AM). We are planning to take part of our team to Swim Regionals, coaches will let your athletes know if they are competing at Regionals.

CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS INFO -METROS meet is February 5-8 at the Germantown Indoor Swim Center. This meet is for those on our team with qualifying dives and times. It is a very prestigious meet against both public and private high schools in the DC Metro area. Fri, 2/7 is the 500 Freestyle & 400 Freestyle Relay trials. Saturday, 2/8 is swimming prelims in the morning, Finals are in the late afternoon/evening. Metros Meet Info will be sent out to those that qualified.
-Regionals meet is Saturday, 2/15 @ 7:45am @ Edward T. Hall Aquatic Center in Prince Frederick, MD. (We will be taking a team bus to this meet, leaving early in the morning. More details to follow.) We are in the Maryland 4A-3A North region. Our team can only have 2 swimmers and 1 relay in each event.
-States meet is at the University of Maryland-Eppley Recreation Center on Saturday, 2/22 @ 8am for Swimming. This meet is for those teammates that qualify at the Regionals meet. The link for Regional and States meets information can be found with the link below, beginning at page 31:
